Bluebeard, Visual Development
Working on redesigning an old tale, Bluebeard. Gave it a Chinese spin! The story is really creepy and interesting (short too!) Here are the main characters:

Here are some photo studies I did to practice painting in two different styles. 10 studies done with a 100% solid brush, and 10 with a brush at 50% opacity.
